Lahore Property Family Wiki¶
This wiki turns the mixed research files in this folder into one readable place for the family. It now has three layers on purpose: curated decision pages, size-and-type-based property catalogs, and a source archive with privacy redactions where the raw finance notes are too personal for the public site.
The current bottom line is fairly consistent across the research already in this folder. On the money side, the Dutch contribution is the sensitive leg, and the research repeatedly points away from a direct Dutch gift to the parents. On the Lahore side, the cheapest 10 Marla listings often come with hidden risk flags such as plot files, open-form transfers, grey-structure houses, unclear possession status, or weak location quality. If the family wants a usable base rather than just the lowest sticker price, DHA-adjacent areas and Lake City keep showing up as the more balanced options.
Start with Europe to Pakistan Money Research if the immediate question is how to move the money and structure ownership. Use Claude vs ChatGPT Research if the family wants to see where the major research runs agree and where they lean differently. Go to Budget and Lifestyle Research if the decision is really about where in Lahore the family should concentrate. For the new family voice-note material, use Abbu's Bahria Voice Notes.
Start with Buying Checklist before any token or advance is paid. For the actual property hunt, use Listings Catalog first. From there, the family can browse by society through DHA, Bahria, Lake City, and Etihad Town, or browse by size and type through the generated Plot Listings By Size and House Listings By Size pages. All Referenced Property Links remains the audit page that keeps every captured property-related link visible.
The wiki also tracks source completeness. Every research file currently in this directory is cataloged, including the two audio notes and their matching Urdu transcript files. The archive pages now cross-link the audio and transcript sources so the family can move between the raw material and the translated market summary, while the money-transfer source pages stay publicly redacted.
